Jessy MendiolaÂ was part of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Batch 15, and first entered the TV industry in Abt Ur Luv Ur Lyf 2 along with the other new talents in 2007. Jessy suffered some setbacks to her stardom, as she got pulled out of a couple of shows. She was supposed to be the lead for Habang May Buhay in 2008 but it was cancelled and recast. She was also supposed to be part of Kokey @ Ako but her part was scrapped in favor of another love team.
